Holiday Stress? Reduce it Now!

Simply put, your body can't stay healthy if you are always under stress and stress. We were made to cope with stress our ancestors faced in the old world ( when they need to go into the forest and find foods ). This is regarded as the fight or flight mode and its a high-energy reaction. These reactions help to burn off the simulative hormones that your body produces and then your body will return back to basics. Stress demands a lot of our energy in a short term and the body has a short while to conform to it. However, the actuality of the season can be much different, its an exhausting month, crammed with time-intensive activities and social commitments, stress over finances and gift giving, jammed stores with no parking, over-stimulated kids, and the challenge of preserving emotional and physical health. On occassion, just the expectation of the Vacations can be overpowering. Everyone is exhausted and spread too thin, planning, baking, working with clashing family schedules, and organizing transitioning youngsters. And this year, because money worries are a significant concern, there's even more stress around setting a firm budget and being creative about present giving. It preoccupies the complete human system whenever it strikes, engaging body, mind and energy in a cycle of tension and chaos which has no way to flee. High amount of stress will leave us more susceptible to disease and sickness.
